Registering online is quick, efficient, and reduces the amount of paper and labor required here on campus. Here’s what you need to do:
1. SELECT THE COURSE(S) YOU’D LIKE TO TAKE, using the online schedule of classes and/or advice from your advisor.
- If you are looking for a specific course, type in the course number and all available sections will appear.
- If you just want to browse, scroll down to "Customized Search." Under Departments/Discipline, choose Education. All the courses offered that semester in the College of Education will appear.
- Once you've made your choice(s), not both the course number (e.g. EAD 616) and the CRN (course registration number- e.g. 65210) for each course you plan to take.
- 2. REGISTER by going to the University of Maine website (www.umaine.edu).
- Click on “Web DSIS,” and the log-in screen will come up. Click on “student,” and on “UM.” Type your social security number in the box that calls for your ID.
