| Welcome. This is a common content library of photographs I've taken in an effort to teach myself how to use the camera. I make no claims to being a professional photographer, but to my untrained eye, there are some nice pictures here! Hopefully you will find them useful for whatever non-commercial purpose you wish to put them to. Please feel free to use anything you find here, provided you are willing to abide by the Creative Commons License, below.
Higher quality versions of all these images are available. Please contact me if you need a specific image. Also, if you wish to use an image but can't abide by the Creative Commons License for whatever reason, contact me and we can negotiate something.
Special Feature: The Henry LeClair Archive Series 1 • Series 2
These are photographs that were taken by my father sometime between 1967 and 1973. Looking at these old photos was my inspiration for wanting to learn how to use the camera in the first place. Since these photos were so old, they are dusty and scratchy and color shifted. I resisted the desire to fix all that, and present them here straight off the scanner. A great way to teach yourself a program like Photoshop is to start by repairing old photographs. You'll find a lesson on that here. For printing purposes, I've added a section of higher-quality images. Better color, higher resolution, and cropped. I haven't fixed the dust & scratches or color corrected the images, so if you want a really good picture drop me a line & I'll do one up for you. High-quality series 2, 144 more images.
